Finally Bit the bullet.....
the dash will go on tomorrow
been a long time coming and ive lagged it for so long but it will be on there god willing by the end of tommorow
here is a bit the process to tide you guys over before i post pics of the finished product.

Good call on the black paint first, any woodgrain showing would've looked bad. I honestly like it as a concept, but I'm just not sure about how it will look. I have never been a fan of the "ADD-ON" kits as you can always see the edges of what's underneath and it just doesn't look quite OEM. But I DO like the idea and I have thought of PAINTING all my woodgrain with silver to look like aluminum. (There's agood techniqie to ecen get the look of the grain of the aluminum). I did the gauge insert, console around the shifter and the door handles on my 'Teg that way and with like 4 coats of clear it looked SWEET. I am anxious to se pics of it installed dude!
