I took my car over to Kramer 06 Jan for an overdue state inspection and got the following write up, i.e. failed:

-Replace front turn signal clear lenses with amber lenses

-worn/torn wipers (got the same lenses on my '97 Accord, it
passed with no problem)

and the the show stopper,

-Exhaust leak from the exhaust manifold (I think).

Here I was junk yard hopping to get the plastic piece that the pin on the headlight attaches to to secure the bulbs thinking the driver side light would be off center and fail me and I got some potential problems with this exhaust leak.

Spoke with the local dealership, they did my previous exhaust repairs for free, and the tech said he hopes this is covered under warranty because the part I might need is easily $1000. I only have $5000 left to pay on it and if I don't get these repairs reasonably, I might be upgrading to an MDX or XC90.

I'm up to 131,000 miles so who knows. I wasn't really looking fwd to this though, I'm moving in 2 weeks. My appt is 09 Jan. Anyone need any parts (cosmetic and stock that is, not really into upgrades except cd changers and bulbs or lenses) I may be able to pull them if I have to trade in.

*BTW-if I get thru this and anyone can get their hands on the plastic peice that metal bulb pin is secured to, let me know, no yards in Hampton Roads could get me the headlight. Don't want to buy the whole headlight assy on ebay unless I have to.
