EXACT match wood shift knob??

How can I be sure that the wood knob I order is going to match perfectly? I'd rather keep my black leather knob if the wood grain is going to be a different tone. Is there a certain name or part # for the matching knob?
thanks, Andy

It's hit or miss, they made no factory knobs for our TL's. Best thing to do is just look hard at the picture of the online sale and hope for a match. Look at the 06 RL leather shifter knob... looks real nice!

The shifter I bought, matched the TL interior perfectly. It's not 100% the same, but very very close. Here is a pic,

yeah, that would be an example of what I don't want. I want to hold the knob against the dash and see NO difference. Yours is nice, thats just my preference.

I just bought one from ebay. That one is for RL's and 1st gen TL's and it matched perfectly. I love the way it looks with the rest of the interior!!

yeah but my shifter to me matched it almost perfectly. I got it through Acura. The shift plate piece was part of a dashkit I bought for the TL, and that was one of the pieces.
