Take off the tweeters by the front dome light?

I am thinking of using that space for something else, since I dont use them anymore.

Take the cover off of the light fixture. Behind that will be a couple of screws. Take the screws out and the rest is really self explanatory. Give it a try. Why would you want to disconnect the tweets??

 

After I put my system, they are no longer powered. So I figured maybe pit on some black lights or a microphone for hands-free cellular.

 

So if you put an aftermarket deck, the tweeters by the dome light and front dash won't work anymore??????? I really wanted to put an aftermarket deck......but it sucks that the tweeters won't work! Which sounds better....the stock deck and the tweeters working or the aftermarket deck without the tweeters working????????????

 

Actually I have a MB Quart 5.25 seps in my doors that are running off an amp.

There is a difference in sound but its only really noticable a mid to high volumes.

 

i wouldn't even worry about the stock speakers anymore if i was you. they are going to rot out anyway. i just bought some MB Quart 6 1/2 Components and i am nothing but happy. the shop put the tweeters in the door to the right of the door handle. they sound really good. trust me get rid of the stock speakers before they go bad on you like mine did.

Remove those dealer stickers from the trunk lid?

I don't want to be a traveling billboard for the dealership. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
