Different Sparkplug question...

Any ideas as to why the Legend calls for colder sparkplugs than the TL? Both the type ii and the standard motor. Aren't the engines identical to our 3.2? Just curious.

Legends are OBD-I and 1st gen TL's are on OBD-II, so maybe it's an emissions reason?
