Debadge?

Well, I am going to clay/wax my car this weekend, and I have been tossing up the idea of taking of the Acura and 2.5TL off the back, leaving just the (A) in the middle. Does anyone have pics of their car like this? Any oppinions? Any tips on getting them off?

It'll look really good if you do that. I have a pic of my rear in the gallery, but I have an inspire emlem on, but you'll get the idea. To take the emblems off, get a piece of fishing line and use it to "floss" off the emblems. I think that TLBaller used a hair dryer to get the glue softer and make it easier. I didnt do that but they came off anyway.
Buy some 3M adhesive remover, the kind safe for cars, to get all the glue off. Itll take some elbow grease, but you wont be dissapointed in the results.

I heard dental floss also? Something a bit softer, being a small bit less harsh on the paint. I've heard the hair dryer thing, figured I would use it if I couldnt get them off to begin with, or at least to get teh stick stuff off.

I have some Goof-Off, not sure if its safe on cars or not though, maybe I'll try it out on the trusty (haha) volvo.

the adhesive sucks to get off. becareful though when pulling it off you might leave imprints that scratch the paint. it happened on my car so theres a partial outline of ACURA and 3.2TL on both sides. Use the hairdryer first to get the glue soft or do it on a hot day. Keep the hairdryer moving dont leave it in one spot too long or it will damage your paint and use fishing line or dental floss to cut the glue. I just ripped mine off thats why the imprints are there.

Yeah that will look very clean. Although I do like it with the emblems. I took off all the emblems on the back of my Accord except the H, it looked tight.

you use either fishing line or floss but don't just pull the string straight down or up. hold both ends and pull it towards you (away from the paint) as you pull the string down or up.

982.5: you wouldn't happen to have that link to the thread I made, would you?
