I just got out of work, and as usual filled up a cup of Dr. Pepper before I left, got into my car, and almost spilt it all over the place. It wasn't the lighting's fault, but more my own for feeling like shit and trying to do too much at once. I realized though, that prettymuch everything lights up, cept the cup holder. Has anyone though of putting a couple small LEDs in there or anything to light it up? Or maybe a light below it, and cut small holes in it so you have a dotted ring where the cups go. Only on when the headlights are on though Anyone here who can at least point me to a good light to use and where to get it?

I did it when I had my Explorer. Here's a pic for it:



I got LED's from Autozone complete with resistors and wires so all I did was to hook it up to the illumination circuit and it works. It's great!

i actually been thinking about that ever since i saw that in those scions...it should be easy since our cup holders can be take out and worked on easily...
