Cruise, TCS, and side mirrors nothing?
Hello,
Ive searched through the threads and have yet to find a solution to my problem. On my 96 TL 2.5 the cruise control and TCS button dont work. When I push them in even with car driving on highway they dont light up. Nothing on button or dash. Also when I try to use the steering wheel controls noting happens either.
Also, my power side mirrors do not move at all, and I dont hear anything like they are trying to move.
I checked all fuses under my dash and under hood and none where blown?
Anyone have any ideas on what this is?
I may have to take it to a shop to diagnose but I dont wanna pay the 60-70 bucks just to look at it!
Please help, thanks.

The 96 2.5TL does not have traction control system, well at least mines doesn't. Someone might have swap out that panel from a 3.2TL. Try to pry the woodgrain apart and see if the plugs are connected in the back.

No TCS on 2.5 models.
+1 for checking wiring connections, fuses and relays.

ok guys, thanks for the suggestions. It could be a panel like you said from the 3.2. The Moonroof button does open and close the roof though? Ill pull and check anyways, hopefully thats the problem.
But as for the cruise control, can you still activate the cruise with just the steering wheel controls or does the button need to pushed in and ON?

The main cruise control button on the left hand side should be pushed in. If not, it makes the steering wheel controls inoperative.

Yeah, leave the cruise main switch pressed in and try to set the cruise control with the steering buttons. Sometimes it's just a burned out light bulb on the button itself.
