I have a problem with my cooling. My temp guage goes to normal temperature within a couple of minutes, then when overdrive comes on, the temp guage drops off almost back to cold, then slowly climbs back up. I replaced to sensors on the water pump housing and had it diagnosed for a bad tw sensor but still having problems. can anyone help or had the same problem. this is on a 96 2.5 TL. Is there a sensor for the overdrive that is shot? help!!

 

I'd have a mechanic check it out.

 

I did at acura. they ran the diagnostic and said it was the tw sensor so thats why I replaced it first. i didnt know if anyone had this problem too or any other suggestions. i didnt know if there was a sensor for the overdrive or not?
