I went to valvoline to change the Oil and the guy there said my Oil Plug to drain the oil is broken. Anybody know where I can get the replacement ... can I find similar plug in home depot or someplace ??

u can probably just order it from acura. Let me tell u though i hate everything that has to do with oil after my oil plug broke the threads off of my TL. It cost me 1,300 or some odd dollers to get that thing replaced. Hense forth the reason i still dont have rims for my TL. Since then my oil has been serviced at the local 76 quick lube. They have Mobil 1 Super Syn and at least if they break my oil pan they can dish out the money.

 

You can get them straight from the dealer...just like 96_2.5TL said. They are only like $7. I replaced mine twice already, just because it started getting hard to grip. The worst thing you can do is cross thread that thing. It will end up costing you a lot!!!

 

Check both the Honda & Acura dealers and compare the price.
I bought the same plug at the Honda dealer for a couple of bucks cheaper.
