bye bye exhaust

i just got my exhaust taken out and put the stock one back in. since i felt kinda bad for my car, i decided to get it some stainless silver square tips. looks pretty decent. my goodness my car is so quiet now, the only thing you can hear is the air filter. ::sigh:: i hope i made the right decision.

What was wrong with the other exhaust?

I'm afraid to get a new exhaust until I can hear the muffler first. I wish some of these sites a sound files of the different mufflers they sell. Who wants one of those Civic "Fart Can" mufflers?

an exhaust would be cool, but I love my quiet sound. All I hear is my intake sucking in the air. My accord is so loud, so thats my loud car, haha.

I have a vibrant muffler with a ractive tip. It's a nice, deep sound. THere are a lot of tuners out here with those bombs on their civics, and my sis used to date one of them, so she hates that sound. She says my car sounds awesome though. It's only when I'm doing +130km/h on the highway that it gets annoying (a little loud over 3500 rpm). Also, it looks good!

well the exhaust wasn't exessively noisy like those rice rockets, it's just that i'm sick of the noise. it's a great sound, but after awhile i feel bad for the passengers. the car's so much quieter now with the stock exhuast back in. the only thing i can hear is the intake, and it's not too bad by itself. glad i made the right choice.

Yeah, I have the same problem right now. My OBX muffler sounds pretty good, but its pretty darn loud in the back seat and I am getting tired of it. Its fun as hell to drive though. BTW...if anyone's interested, im getting it taken off soon so it'll be for sale, probably around $75 plus shipping. I'll send a link soon so you can see and hear it.
