Bonehead mistake leads to...

My battery died today because I left a light on. I was in a rush to get to school and my father helped me jump it real quick.

His sight is not all that great and he crossed the jumper cables on the Jeep. I connected them to my 2.5 TL and got a nice bright spark. Left it on for a few seconds till my father realized they were crossed.

I never tried to start the car.

After we corrected the wires, it started right up. Only thing is that I have no keyless entry now. It stopped working. The power locks work.

My amplifier for my sub stopped working too. I have to look at the fuse on the amp, the inline fuse on the battery is fine.

What should I do? Do you think it is fried? Any input is appreciated!

Neat. I refuse to put money into the factory alarm. I will upgrade if possible.

I paid $100 installed for my alarm; don't waste money on the factory one if it's fried.
