Blind Spots on the TL
Hey Guys,
I've been driving around in my 97 TL for almost 3 months now and I noticed that my car has blind spots. I know every car has them, but these blind spots almost caused me to get into at least 2 accidents while changing lanes. The coverage is not that great especiallly on the driver's side. I noticed when I first got the car that the rear view and side mirrors are smaller compared to the GM car i previously owned. Do any of you guys notice this??

yeah when i first got my car i noticed that too, but not as bad as the new RSX, damn that car is a biitch to drive with the blind spots. i got those tiny mirrors that go on your side mirrors and that solved the problem. i also got a bigger rear view mirror and that helped too. drive safely out there buddy.

nah sorry.. i drove an expedition and those mirrors were huge. you just have to get use to acura's mirrors. in order to avoid accidents... you have to actually turn your head and look in the back seat window to avoid blind spot accidents. they should teach you that in drivers ed.

No kidding. I'll have to look into those little side mirrors ...I might need one ..even tho they do look cheesy on a luxo car.

Do you think I just started driving 2 days ago? I been driving for 12 years now and I have yet to be involved in an accident. My point was that the range of coverage of the driver's side mirror is insufficient. There is a 25% blind spot ...dangerous even during a casual lane change.
