Belt Replacement?
Belt Replacement?
Hello All,
I was doing some research of parts and prices for the 3.2TL 1st Gens and I was wondering about belt replacement at 90K miles. I noticed that there are several belts and I wanted to know which ones need to be replaced at 90K?
Timing Belt
Alternator Belt
A/C Belt
Power Steering Belt
I'm guessing it's the timing and a/c ones, but any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Slagboy

Check your owner's manual. If I remember right, for my 1996 it says the timing belt replacement is at 120k and the others at 90k. Don't hold me to that 'cause I can't remember for sure.
I'm pretty sure about the timing belt replacement at 120k though.

Well, the Helms manual indicates 105K miles. I'm guessing the 90K miles everyone suggests is coming from the Acura owners manual. In either case, I'm getting all 4 belts replaced soon. The timing, alternator, and a/c belts are easy to spot just by opening the hood. I've gotta check the manual for the power steering one.
