Back-Up Light

What would be my best conclustion to put in my reverse lights, i was thinking something like a holgen H3 or a HID H3 would be nice so i can see very well becasue at night it gets dark as hell with 5% tint on the rear window. Will the taillights melt or can it withstands the heat for a minute max.

HID would be a lot of money just to see things that you could see if you roll your window down and look at your mirror. that's what i do.

I had 50 watt 1156s in my Accord... They were OK... I did what Daemonicus said and just rolled down the window.

~Cheers~

There was some company out of Austrailia, I think... It's been too long... The bulbs were donated along with the car, though, hehe.

~Cheers~

Just go on ebay, or check on google, you'll find some.

If i can get the hid kit cheap, I would like to do it just so when i go to car meets it will bring more attention and it would be nice for it too be bright... So what what i was wondering was will it melt the taillight or do any defect to it.

unless you're gonna leave your car in reverse for a long period of time (and i mean LONG) it shouldn't be an issue. when i broke my old tailights and got the inspires, i set my old ones on fire and they didn't melt for a while, certainly a lot longer than you would have your car in reverse. i would think wiring it though would be a bitch.
