Anyone know how to take the spray tint off the tails?

Anyone know how to take the spray tint off the tails?
I sprayed mine black but I want to make them clear again. How do you take this stuff off?

i had mine red ... i took it off with gas.. it took a while.. try also goof off ,paint Thinner??

yeah you can use either of those things but just don't leave it on there for too long or else the plastic will start melting.

nope .. it just didnt get in the cracks so i had to use a razor blade for that

what did you use 96tl for the black light is it spray paint or what

Its tailight spray. It comes in red or black. You can get it at pretty much any car performance shop. You could probably use transparent paint from a hobby shop too. Welcome to the board BTW.

Nail Polish remover will make the plastic dull. Unless you tried it and it worked? I'm gonna try some gas tonight.

yeah and right after you're done pouring gas all over the tails....light it on fire!!!! hehe and take pictures too. i wanna see that you've have your set of flaiming tails!!!

I tried nail polish remover, no effect. I tried gas and it took some off but the plastic underneath looks dull now. Do I have to polish it somehow after I take the spray off? 96.25TL, how exactly did you do it?

I just tried the other side and the gas had no effect. WTF? What do I do now? I REALLY need to get this off. Please help me.

hmmm... you could try turpentie (sp?? ) on a towel not a lot as if you put too much it may mess with the plastic...

ps put some muscle into it

Trust me I did. Forget it, I gave up. I guess I had the tint on too long. Its been about a year.
