It was closer to $600 IIRC, and when I went to Japan, I found out from the guy that you need to give him your tails first, then about a week later, he'd give them back to you.

This guy is running AME Shallan WX, F: 19x8.5 215/35r19 R:19x9 225/35r19, rolled fenders. He got a 2.5TL, and did a 5 lug conversion to fit the wheels cause these wheels don't come in a 4 lug pattern in these sizes.

you can clearly see he rolled his fenders as well as PULL it. 8.5 is damn wide for our cars. i wonder what his offset is.

i dont know what kind of kit that is.. it looks like skipper but not exactly. maybe hiro but definately not azect or value. I like that rear end piece.

The number plate frame is nice, and I had almost bought one, but I didn't want to deal with the bolt holes being spaced further apart. Now that I have the adapters, it's a nice thing that I'd consider.

~Cheers~

Yes, the 4 lugs are most likely the UA1s, aka 2.0TL, . 2-litre 5-cylinder G20A.

Could be the dark grey interior, since those tend to come out black in photos. BTW, Risky Auto has some nicely done-up cars and I actually don't like Sense Brand since alot of their exhaust systems are too much... (Overkill, not money).

Goddam!

Are those RL side mirror with blinkers?
I want it! I want it! I want it!
Can someone confirm the year of the RL that the mirrors came off of?

Also, how did this niggaz convert a 4 lug to 5 lug?
Does that mean, when he changes the front brake rotors, he doesnt have use a presser to get the rotors out? So it would be like replacing a rotor for the 3.2 TL model?

The led taillight was awsome. If it were me, Id place it in a pattern like a circle or triangle or like the G35 pattern.

The interior leather, he probably repainted it black or did he?

This is the most impressive hookup Ive seen so far for our TL since the turbo kit.
Kudos to him.

He didn't convert anything. JDM UA2s were 5 lug, while UA1s were 4.

His car is originally 4lug, It speciffically says in his blog that he did a 5 lug conversion, plus he posted a pic of of stock car, which I also posted on this thread.

Anyway teekay, our suspesnsion is basically the same as 94-97 honda accord. Alot of the honda accord guys have done a 5 lug conversion, and there are many different methods on doing this. From the research I have done, the rear wheelbearing/hub/rotor off of a 95-98 3.2tl should fit 2.5tl. and for the front, wheelbearing/hub assembly/rotor from a 95-97 honda odyessy(yeah, the minivan)for the front.

There are also other ways, like prelude parts, integra type r disc brakes, etc... all depends which route you take on doing this.

wow! this thread is getting more exciting.
From what you said DiegosAnotherR1, about the oddessy fronts conversion.
I began to think of the benefits of the conversion, and I think its worth it.

For instance,

1) I might be able to fit a Brembo big brake kit or NSX caliper, use integra brake parts ect.
2) I can say screw you to my mechanic, and do my own brakes now that the presser method doesnt apply anymore to change the front rotors.
Theres so many kind and brake brand I can customize and play around with.

I think the front conversion only would do it for me because Im only concern about getting rid of the presser problem. The rear Im satisfy with. Besides, I already spent one grand on rims with 4 lugs already. If I do the front then all I have to do is get a five lug rim version for the froms only. Its going to look rice, I mean the front and rear lug numbers dont match but so what.

I was looking for a picture ofthe oddessey fronts but couldnt find it to do my own comparison. However, I found this instead.
Its another topic but think its worth mentioning it for future reference regarding suspension.
This is the 95-97 Honda Oddessey front strut.

And this is the 96-98 Acura TL 2.5 front strut.

Dont they look similar?
Similar enough to be interchangeable perhaps. So now, we found another car that shares the same front strut as the TL 2.5 and 97 Honda Accord. Now begs the question
Since the Oddesseyis heavier in weight, could the Oddessey strut tolerate more weights and absorb bumps better?

If it does then we can use the Oddessy struts instead of the 97 accord v4.
Combined with the TSX springs, I think it would work brilliantly!

06 rl lights, thats whats on his car, the guages off the rl are also hot as fuck, but cant find them for our year models
Yes!Sweet! Im going to try it once I get all the parts.
I currently have the folding mirrors install but Im willing to ditch it for the blinks.
Im going to miss it but hey you cant them all.
Unless I can find someway to integrate them. It will be on ebay.

As for the led taillight, Im going to try and do it this summer and post some pics.
It looks easy enough. I'll need to do determine like how many led bulbs I will need to make it equivalent to each of the brake, parking light, and backup halogen bulbs. then position the leds so people can see light from 180 degrees. Add some resisters, relays, wires, and viola!
What do you guys think?
