Any way to remount the front plate?

Just wondering if anyone here has thought of a way to mount the front license plate differently.

My front bumper is getting replaced from the accident, and I'd really like to keep from scratching it up with the new plate, and damn, I just don't like it there.

Maybe I'll just take it off and toss it in my trunk to be forgotton about and hope no one notices. I really don't think they will though, whatever.

Ghetto isn't quite what I was going for

And it would bug me to see it just sitting over there while I was in the car all the time.

Depending on where you live (RI I see) some people may tell you to:

A. Say fuck that and just not use it at all
B. Suck it up and put it on there bc the 5-0 where you live are Nazis (it may be NY, not sure though. I know there is one place where they are strict about it)
C. Take the fsttyms approach and break the mounting bracket, put it and the plate in your trunk, and if you catch flak from the 5-0 for it, say that you got in an accident and haven't had time to replace it, but you will.

In Mississippi, we don't need one (thank gawd) but it really depends on what the cops are like in your area.

I would def use C. though.

Any Rhode Islanders to comment on the issue?

I think C is what I am going to go with, just drop it in the trunk, and say I still had it off from my accident and had forgot about it, appologize, and put it back on.

Just wnated to see if anyone had any good ideas for it.

That's the best I've heard.

Don't forget to break it for authenticity!

Yeah, I like the Acura plate you had to cover up the holes in front, I may do something like that, I'm just not feeling the front plate, I want my damn car back.

do a side mount like how i did at one point and have the bracket hanging from the bumper grill instead of having it in the middle of the bumper

you better put it away otherwise if you get into an accident, that plate will fly and decapitate your head.

The idiot dealership that I bought mine from drilled their dealer plate INTO my front bumper, instead of using the factory holes, so mine looks terrible with no plate.

Going to have the front bumper redone and it all smoothed out soon though
