Hello i am buying a 1998 Acura TL the car is in great shape and runs great...the check engine light is on...the owner plugged it in to his machine and it read code PO141 (HO2S
( Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 heater circuit) the heat doesnt work at all and the guy told me that it needs a blower...so i call one of those people who thinks they know everything and they say that its the ECU...could it be that?'I have had problems in the past with hondas and Ecu 's and the car ran like crap...this one doesnt...any thoughts will be helpfull.

replace the o2 sensor n you need to get a new blower motor which will be a pain ..you have to take out ur dash board to get to the blower motor

r u up for the tl? the tl eats alot of gas and this car is rare

Hmm my heat did not work it was because of the radiator. I would ask a mechanic how much it would cost to do those repairs before you buy.

If you do your own repairs and can extract a significant discount for the inop blower, it might be a good deal. I would discount at least $1000 for blower problem and $200 for O2 sensor replacement.
