I just got my subs and a new cd deck installed and i need an alarm system. Any recommendations? I'm looking around 100-150 for the alarm.

 

Thats really low for a price range. First off, what kind of features do you want? Auto-start? Window roll up? If you add $30 more to the 150 then you can get something called a Aladdin 2000. Comes with a two-way pager, auto-start,and other tite shiet. Thats the one im considering installing for my car. If not, ill get a viper 550.

 

try looking on ebay...might get some good deals there.

 

yeah.100-150 is pretty low but there are a lot of places that have cheap alarms for that price. its not as good as the other brands though. one of the top brand alarm is clifford.

 

personally i have a viper 550 in my car ... i havent had any problems with it and it is well worth the money i paid for it
the best part is, is that it has an aditional output so i hooked my strobes up to the output so i can turn them on with the remote from my alarm

The aladdin 2000 is supposedly very popular in japan. The feature I like most about it is that it has a two way pager. I'll know if anyone lays their hands on my wifey hehe.
