I have 96 2.5TL, how can I check to see if the alarm is working. The stereo light blinks when the car is off but the alarm light does not do anything when I lock the car.

 

the best way to check if the alarm is working is open the widown on the driver side....close the door and turn the alarm on...then open the car without using the key or the alarm...just put ur hand inside and open the car from inside...and then open the door...if the alarm goes on it's working...if it dosen't then it's not...and one u unlock it give it about minute or 2 before u unlock it....
