air ride suspension

i have a 1996 3.2 tl

i love how smooth it rides
i wanna lower it though when i get my rims

i was wondering if anyone has any experience w/ air ride suspensions

are they as smooth

or if anyone knows a good way to lower the car and keep ride quality

air suspensions are bouncy. the only good way to actually keep the smoothness of your stock ride is just to keep it stock. the closest you can get is if you buy springs and shocks that are compatable with each other. i had eibachs in my previous car and it rode like stock. we have a tl so my stock ride is a lot smoother than my previous car's "stock" ride.
