NNNOOOOOOooooooo.......

Really?

Anything else I can try?

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that the split is on the rear bumper (top) and is about 8cm/4in long. Although it looks huge in the pic...

Nothing will get the paint back on there, it's gonna have to be repainted.

you could fill it with a little fiberglass or bondo and then use some factory touch up paint to go over it. the factory color isn't usually the same color, it's kind of a shade off so you'll kinda see where it was painted but IMO it's a lot cheaper than paying $1000 for a new paint job on something that's not really hard to fix. i've filled some dents on my car with bondo and then painted them and it's not that hard. it's your choice though.

Touch-up paint will fix that...

Take it into a shop and try to get a free quote.

It shouldn't be anywhere near that much to fix just the bumper, they should be able to do it for a couple hundred

I agree.. I scraped the bumper on a Civic of mine years ago and it was around 75 bucks.

Thanks folks!

I'll bring it into a body shop, and see what they have to say. They may tell me the steps they'll take to fix it, and I'll do it myself...

cheers
