I'm Keepin' It Honda!!!!!

I know there are $1,500+ (per seat) BRIDE and Recaro racing seats out there if you feel the need to do serious street racing, but to me... I feel that's a little too much. I just got used Acura NSX N1 seats for $600 (both seats) on Ebay. The connection for power seats should work and later on after my build is complete I plan on reupholstering my interior and adding a aftermarket heated seats. But check out the pics... the leather is really not that bad.

They arrived on freight to my shop... Threw them in the back of my Hummer to take them home.

They look good! I would love to see install pictures. Feel free to post a link to a build thread. I've been wanting a black interior for the longest time, so if these work could be my motivation.

Check it out!!!!! I was able to get pics of the 1991 Acura NSX, that the seats that I bought came out of. Give me a few to show installing pics or DIY... The brackets on the NSX does not match. I'm thinking about going to PnP and getting the seat brackets of a salvage TL and weld them to these NSX seats. It's just an idea of mine. My friend whose has done a couple of seat mods in Civics and Integras claims he has a better idea, but won't let me know bc he wants to be the first to seat on the seats when its done.

That came out amazing! What'd you use to recolor your interior, looks like it's holding up nice. If I can find a pair of these I'd have to go full black interior.
Post a how to if you can. How'd you end up attaching them, weld brackets?

All the leather in the interior was done by a buddy of mine who does interior for private jets out here in Little Rock... The NSX seats are black, which match the floor well. The seats are not fully installed. I was only able to get one screw in each seat to bolt to the TL's floor mount. It looks as if I may have to weld one mount in the front and drill holes in the back with spacers to level it. But the cool factor and looks makes the modification worth it. Plus, its hella comfortable!!! It took a while... but the interior made the wait worth it.

Check out his leather work. I added two pic of the front seats that I took out to put in my NSX seat. Look under Sub-Forum: Photograph Gallery. It is under Thread: Interiors, anyone?
