Accumulator oring size?
#2
i see some stuff at the bottom of my accumulator and I am guessing there is a leak at the connection. esco786, did you ever replace the ring? does anyone else have that problem?

I replaced this oring on a 97 Acura CL, a different ABS modulator than the TL but similar.
I pulled the old oring and had to go to several places until I found a good match. Honda doesn't offer the oring as a part, only the entire accumulator. I don't know the size and the oring I used was not a perfect match, but very close. If you have a good micometer, you should be able to measure the old oring accurately enough to understand the oring dimensions.
good luck

to replace the accumulator according to the shop manual i need to take the relief plug on accumulatorf, releasing the pressurized nitrogen gas. if i do that, the accumulator is useless..
should i just skip that step?
i understand that i need to deppresurize the brake fluid..
