98 TL HID mod
Hey, I'm thinking of getting HID lights for my 96 3.2 TL. I was just wondering whether I will still have my high beams after I put the new lights in. Someone told me I would need to buy a bizenon kit for that since 9003 bulbs will not...blah. idk.
Will high beams work if I get HID lights?
oh. and Where can I find the light clips that hold the bulbs in place? Previous owner of the car seem to have lost them.
Thanks.

An H4-2, H4-3, or H4-4 setup will let you keep your high beams(or some semblance of), as long as you have the relay's wiring harness installed properly. On our cars, the lows shut off even when we don't have the highs locked on, so if you just do a plug and play, here's what's going to happen when you flick your high beams:
H4-2: HID lows off, halogen highs on.
H4-3: All lights off.
H4-4: You can't even install this one without the harness. Well kinda, but it'd be the same result as H4-3.
~Cheers~
P.S. H4-1 is just a low beam, with no bulb or anything for the highs.
