does anybody know where i can get a list of the dtc codes for the abs light. my light is coming on while driving and i pulled the codes by jumping the two pins and got a code 51 and a 3. does anyone know what these are?. light has been coming on since i got the car

Mine came on yesterday and then disapperared later. Does any one think that the car alarm can trigger it off? the first time i seen it come on was when the alarm was giving me trouble over the summer and the kill switch kept killing the car while it was driving. ANd when my dad got inside of it and bypassed it so i can go drive home it was on for a few mins and then disappeared. But the dealer had fixed everything by giving me another brain and everythiong has been working fine until yesterday.

 

If this is a 2.5 or 3.2 TL (you didn't specify), code 51 would be 5 long blinks, short pause and one short blink. Code 3 is 3 short blinks. There should have been a 3.5 sec pause between the codes.

Reason I question how you got the code is there is no code 3 in my manual for 98 2.5/3.2TL. All codes are two digits, beginning w/ 11. Code presentation and meanings are same for ABS on 2.5 and 3.2 TL's

If you have TCS, codes are different.
