97 3.2TL Transmission problems

97 3.2TL Transmission problems

Heres the problems im having sometimes i can be driving pull up to a red light. When light turns green go to drive and engine just revs up and wont go anyway. Put car in park then back in drive pulls off smoothly. Never seen anything like this before. Please help.

is the D4 light flashing or a check engine light? If so get the codes read. have you changed the fluid and filter?

No check engine. I changed the filter and new transmission.

you could check the A/B shift solenoids they are located on the top of the transmission between the back of the engine and the fire wall. you do not have to remove them to test, unplug them and apply 12v to each wire, if you hear a clicking sound they are good if not need to replace.

iw as wrong those are the lockup solenoids, the shift solenoids are inside the tranny.
