96 TL 3.2 Belt replacement

Hoping someone can tell me wtf to do about that power steering belt.

I noticed the cap bolt a bit ago [finally], and loosened it and the other bolt tied to the tensioner. I can't get this damned thing LOOSE!

I got the ac and alternator belts off just fine. THIS one though? P.I.T.A.

I need to get this thing done today!

(Also, I'll be confirming later (provided I can get this stupid belt off and on) as to whether or not the Transmission Filter being "slightly ajar" is the cause for the hard shifts)

Here's the link to the set up of the power steering pump to change the belt you will have to loosen the tensioner bolt on the left passenger side on the top. Also loosen both nut and bolt on top and bottom of the power steering pump itself that should be sufficient. Remember not to overtighten and not to undertighten or you will ruin the bearing to the pump and hear lots of grinding noise. #'s 13, 17, and 23 after loosening, the pump moves side to side.

I bet I have an extra one. As long as you can remove the old one, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. PM me if you need a new one.

Oh, also once I've got it back up and running, I'll tell you if tweaking the transmission filter fixed the hard shift problem. :p
