Hey all i'm new to this message board i have a 1996 2.5 tl with 177,000 miles on it its all stock with original tranny, and ever since i drive down to texas from ohio its been a little different. It first felt like it was pulling a lot then it started shaking a bit, i took it to the dealer and they said my 5th port was completely clogged and that i had a hole in my exhaust manifold, i had just got timming belt water pump, spark plugs and all of that replaced, also new brakes. they also did a valve timing for free, but since the valve timming i now have an ugly sounding valve tick, that they said is fine its just because my car is so old, and today on my way to work i noticed a bit of smoke comming from the front of the hood. No overheating on the gauge. I hope its nothing big have any of you ever experienced similar problems?

try to find the source of the smoke.
There should not be any smoke from the front unless the rad is cracked or oil is leaking.
