Hey just wanted to find out how many other people have a 95 TL...because I was told that acura only made a few that year.....

 

you have a 95?? i had herd rumors about them but that was never actually confirmed

 

YES I DO....I GOT IT ABOUT 4 YEARS FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER....AND SHE HAD SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HOW ACURA ONLY MADE A FEW OF THEM THAT YEAR....AND RECENTLY I WENT TO THE DEALER AND THEY ASKED ME WHAT YEAR MY CAR WAS AND WHEN I SAID 95 ..THEY WERE SURPRISED......

 

95? I thought it was only 96-98.

I seen a 95 TL white downtown Brooklyn last summer and it had CLOTH seats. Yes that's RIght. It was so noticeable it looked like tweed.

 

My 95 has leather.....I think it's the same as a 96 as far as bodystyle and interior.....I'm not sure if 96"s and up have a 5cyl like mine....I heard that they got ride of the 5 cyl after 95.....I talked to some one elae about it and they said that acura only made 200 TL's that year...they were demos....Interesting huh....

deuce: i have a 97 thats a 5 banger. all vigors and 2.5 TL's are 5 bangers. i believe 98 was the last year 2.5 TL's were made. no more 5 cylinder cars for acura....i guess that makes us 2.5'ers one of a kind!

 

Yeah I got the 5 cyl. Your right, you never hear of 95's although I did know they existed. Most say or think it's 96-98. 95's are so rare, it's crazy.

 

I wouldn't want to buy a 95 though. It's the first of the TL models so it may have defects. It's best to stick with a 98'

 

In 1995 it was called a Vigor. Some of you may have 1996 TL's that were manufactured in late 1995. That is normal. Any car manufactured after like September or something like that in the auto industry is considered as being the next year. My 1994 Acura Legend was made in December of 1993.

 

NOPE... there was no Vigor for the 95 model year, just a 2.5TL, and only a couple hundred of them. Vigor was not made past the 94 model year.

 

Hey Bro your right....My 95 Acura is a Tl...I don't know how Acura dispersed the 200 tl's they made that year, But The Local dealer only had one...It was used as a demo show what was new for 96...The car is great...I've had it for 4 years, It has 113,00 mls on it and I haven't had one problem with it...no rattles,squeaks,nothing..Runs like a champ...Well Enough for now.....
