94 octane, worth it??

Question 94 octane, worth it??

On my 3.2 I used Sunoco 94 and got 27 mpg! I normally get 25 or so. I guess its worth it if you do a lot of highway driving.

i live in calgary, alberta, canada. we just got 94 octane here for the first time.
So the high octane should be for highway driving mainly?? i drive alot on the highway. goin to try it next time.
more opinions welcome.

94 octane???? In los angeles the highest it goes is 91.....bummer

94 is at just about any Sunoco. The few times I've used it for long trips its been a small difference. Its usually 10 cents more expensive than Premium 91.

what about for normal day to day driving. as in downtown rush-hour traffic mostly?

I haven't noticed any difference with it around town. I just stick to 91 then.

There are some Unocal stations in SoCal that sell 100 racing fuel. Norwalk and Newport Beach are two.

there is one station in fresno which sells 98 but its hella bills
