I had 215/35 18 on my Si.....they are extremely weak tires due to the small sidewall.....I had the same trouble.....it's kinda to be expected with such a small sidewall ratio

yeah im riding on 45's and i still bend my rims...so bad that my tires were leaking air. i got them to bend back my wheels in shape and i was good to go. another time, i hit a bump and got a bulge in my tire....know what im talking about?? i bought the warranty and they replaced it for free. so if you have bad roads in your area...buy the warranty!! it helps!

I have had 215/35/18s on my GF Civic never had a problem with blowing tires, I had 225/40/18s on my 96TL when I had it no problem as well. Now I have a 95Lexus SC with 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear and have no problems, I have had hit a few pot holes pretty hard. Make sure you jsut dont over inflate the tires.
