I've done research on the 1st gen TL forum and found that the 94-97 Accord parts will fit your 2.5TL for Suspension mods.

back in 2001, an A-TL member KK939 installed Tokicos and Konis, which were made for the 94-97 Accord:

Tokicos: - "They fit perfectly even though the Tokicos were a bit shorter than stock shocks."

Koni Yellows: - "I did not have to drill anything they fit perfectly in the front ones I set it at the sport setting and the rear at normal. The shock is a little bit shorter than the stock ones but trust me these shocks are wonderful."

So there are aftermarket struts for the 2.5TL!!
....Just buy the 94-97 Accord struts

....the 1st gen CL suspension is also compatible because the CL frame is built off the 94-97 accords.

now i don't have to worry about the B+G S3 coilovers not fitting on my 2.5TL because they will fit!!!

hmm i just wonder about a front strut bar would fit? what other suspension mods fit?

yeah that discussion came up and one of the members said, "that not even the accord ones would fit cause our hood is too low. people have tried and failed."

Acurasnake, if you are truely correct you have made my day!
(about the 94-97 accord, and 97 CL struts fitting 2.5 TL)

I've searched long and hard, and have called buisnesses asking if they could crossreference and no one has been able to do it yet. Actually no one's been able to give me a strut/shock application for my car at all. I thought I was going to have to go with OEM's.

Not that I dont' believe you, but can anyone else please verify this?
(two heads are better than one)
(any other 2.5 TL owners riding shocks/struts meant for a '97 accord)
