2.5 vs. 3.2
The 2.5 is an inline five cylinder, very smooth for a 5, unlike Volvo or Audi. It makes 176 hp and about 175 ft pounds of torque. It has a slightly heavier steering feel and firmer suspension than the 3.2 It gets 20 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway
The 3.2 is the same engine used in most Acura Legends from 1991 to 1995. It makes 200 horsepower and 210 foot pounds of torque. It has a slightly better ride than the 2.5 but isnt as sporty around corners. Its more of a cruiser/highway car.
The 3.2 is a bit heavier, by about 200 pounds, so it feels almost like a heavier European car.
The 3.2 gets 19 mpg in the city and 24 on the highway.

I don't know for certain (these cars were new before I was selling Hondas/Acuras) but I believe the 3.2's come with leather only. The 2.5 base model comes in cloth, premium 2.5's have heated leather seats and traction control.
3.2 Premium is what I have. It has a moonroof, security system, remote, heated leather seats, traction control, AM/FM CD/Tape, 8 speakers.
The 2.5 base model probably doesnt come with a moonroof, remote, leather/heated leather or traction control, if you want that I think you need to get the premium package 2.5 TL.
When these cars sold new they ranged from about 28K up to almost 38K with all the options.
Why so high? They were all built in Japan. The 2nd generations and 3rd just coming out are now built in Ohio only and are based on the Accord.
For 0-60 times... here is based on what I know as fact.
9 seconds for the TL 2.5
8 seconds for the TL 3.2
8 seconds for Legend '91 - 95 4 speed auto
7.25 seconds for Legend '94 - 95 GS with Type II engine with 5 speed manual
6.75 seconds, Legend Coupe '94 - 95 GS Type II engine with 6 speed manual.

Thats because most 2.5 TL's do come with leather and all the 3.2 come with it. I can't imagine someone ordering a 30K dollar car with cloth. Even the $45,000 RL was available with cloth for a while (you had to order the RL premium do get heated leather seats). Go figure.

2.5TL came out in 95 but only a certain amount was made and yes there are cloth seats for the 1st gen TL. ive seen it on the forums.. i think someone from canada posted it..
as for what car to get. it depends on what your buying the car for. 2.5 has a slightly more aftermarket parts available than the 3.2 such as a strut bar and aftermarket grill. 3.2TL's advantage over the 2.5 is it has a stronger engine and more variety of aftermarket wheels available.
