2.5 TL problems wipers and A/C

I am new to forum. Please bear with me. I have a 96 2.5TL and the folowing problems have started at different times.
1) In full auto mode the a/c works intermittantly. Fan is erratic.
2) Wipers have become unstable. Do not react immediately when switch is activated. Seems as though they have to warm up to turn on.

Any guidance on these problems would be appreciated

Sounds like your wiper motor is going out. I experienced this problem just a few months ago. I found another motor at a local autosalvage for a pretty good price. I installed the motor myself, it was not too hard to do. I just followed the removal directions in my chilton's guide. If you find that it is no longer operable, let me know cause I know a local auto salvage that just might have one. As far as the A/C goes, I haven't run in to this problem before.

Could you be mistaking your intermittant A/C fan for just the fan acting automatically and coming on to cool the car when the thermometers tell it to?

I have replace 3, yes 3, motors on my 98 TL 2.5. There seems to be an issue here. Acura paid for my last one as a "courtesy"

Thank you for the reply. I did replace the motor assy with one purchased from Advance Auto. It is working well. Only time will tell how long it works.
