i have a question about my car what is the difference between 98 2.5 and 98 3.2 TL? the emblems on my car said it was a 2.5 tl but when i looked at the engine it was a 3.2L so im really not sure can some one help me?

 

2.5 and 3.2 are the engine size.

 

Sounds like the previous owner got their badge stolen (and replaced with the wrong one) or... it was in an accident.

 

the engine size, obviously is the main difference. 2.5 had a 176 hp, inline 5 and the 3.2 had a 200 hp V6. the 3.2 also has a different front bumper, the grille is attached to the hood as opposed to the 2.5 that has a seperate hood and grille. the 3.2 also came with different wheels and also woodgrain in locations that weren't available to the 2.5 and lastly, the option for heated seats.

 

You should be happy its a 3.2 V6. Its a higher model then a 2.5 TL

 

yes i am happy but now theres another problem i went to the honda dealership to get my chek engine fixed and we had to buy parts n guess what kinda of parts i got 2.5...-_- hope that aint nothin bad is it. well thanks for your help now i know what stuff to buy, i was about to buy a 2.5 tl kit lol

 

Exactly what kind of parts? In some cases they're the same.
