does the srs light stay lite all the time

Wrong part of the forum and I am not sure, manual says SRS system should be checked by dealer every 10 years. its 2009.

Either way the SRS light should not be on. The only time it comes on is if there's some kind of a fault. Maybe a sensor, might be the module.
