My speedometer stopped working. other symptoms include check engine light on, transmission shifting into gears later than normal or harsher than normal? I am having all of the above issues! Are they connected?

Also, small oil leak around the head.

Very frustrated and sad that this car is doing all of this. I do take good care of it. I have a 178k miles on it.

 

Sounds like the tranny is done. When mine went in my CL-S all my lights on my dash lit up as well.
