1996 TL 2.5 spark plugs

My TL 2.5 engine presently has NGK BKR5EGP plugs in it. I have no idea of their age. Are these the proper plugs ?
I expect to drive less than 5000 annually. Is a different plug better suited ? Should I run these a while and see how they do ?
Thank You. RP

The OEM plug is NGK BKR5E-N11, which is copper/nickel. The NGK BKR5EGP is copper/platinum, so I'd assume it's at least as good as the original.
