Worst day ever.

As some of you may know, very recently my RL's air conditioning compressor went bad. The shop I took it to told me that the valve cover gaskets were leaking and that would need to eventually get done. Anyway, I've had the car back for a few days and I finally decided to get something done about that fluid that somehow kept appearing under my car in the garage. I guessed it didn't just boil out of the concrete, so it must have came from the car. Hey, what a coincidence, probably the valve cover gaskets. As it turns out Acura had a very competitive price to the other shop. Great, all I needed was an excuse to take the car to Acura. So I pull up, and of course everyone their was very respectful and nice (can you believe that!?). Not to even mention the customer facilities there, I'll get into that later. Since there wasn't anywhere better to sit in the entire place, I have to sit down in one of those massage chairs, that's right, the ones that recline and put your legs up. And this is where things go from bad to worse. An Acura concierge comes up to me and had the nerve to tell me that they just made some fresh homemade cookies! I couldn't believe my ears. And what really set me off was when they told me that had hot chocolate too. So, here I am in this massage chair, with homemade cookies, and hot chocolate, all the while reading a book while it is raining outside. Oh, and did I even mention that I had to endure an insufferable test drive in the brand new Acura TSX Sportswagon? So once I returned to the dealership and got out of that ridiculous car, there was nothing left to do but look at some of the vehicles some idiot parked inside their building. Who parks cars inside where people are walking around and trying to conduct business? Jeez. So finally the service advisor must have built up the courage to tell me that they finished working on my car, he was even rude enough to take 10% off of the charge. He asked me if he could "do anything else for me" and I told him that my RL keychain was pretty dinged up. Probably because I hate the damn thing and throw it on the ground all the time. So I was forced to pick a new one at no charge. So now I'm furious and when I finally think I'm getting ready to leave I get even more bad news. I had just washed my car yesterday and in the rain it got a little bit dirty, and I find out these people washed my car again! I pull together what is left of my broken soul and got the hell out of there while I still could. Worst day ever.

But, yeah. Anyway, the car is in ship-shape now, which is odd because its a car. But we'll see how the techs did fixing it up!

What a bad experience man. Honestly the RLs are pretty crappy reliability wise. They need oil changes pretty often and one time the timing belt had to be replaced. Jesus. It's only at 190k and its already had all this damn work. Money pits.
