Wheel fitment help

Hi, I have a 2000 RL and I was looking to change the wheels, I still have the stock ones on and have no plans on lowering it. I have 2 options for wheels

HFP silver star wheels at 17x7 +45 offset

Acura TSX OEM wheels 17x7 +55

would these fit on this car, and would ride quality suffer and would it be ugly? I'm planning on doing this soon, so any information would help. Especially on what wheel sizes tend to fit, look good, and don't kill ride quality too much.

Both will fit. If you're not lowered, then you won't have any problems. I was lowered with 09 Honda accord v6's 18x8 and there weren't any issues.

I believe your OEM sizing is 16's, correct? If so then a small tire size decrease will not affect your ride quality as bad as if you went from 65's to 35's. And you'll notice that a slightly wider wheel will help the car track better.
