water leaking in through engine compartment 97 RL
I have a 97 rl. Recently I have noticed that when it rains or I wash my car the passenger floorboard is soaking wet. I first thought that the heater core was leaking, but discovered that it only happened when it rained and never smelled like coolant. I then tested the sunroof drains to make sure that they were not plugged. They were not. I then took a hose and ran it only on the windshield on the passenger side. It took about 20 seconds and then there was water running under the glovebox like crazy. I cannot figure out how it is getting in there. Any ideas? Thanks,

Acura Service Bulletin B98-028 (Dated 01OCT2001) may answer your question. It dealt with problems associated with water leaking into the car from the front pillars. It applied to all 1996-2001 3.5RL's and a few VIN's from the 2002 model year.
