Anyone changed their tranny mount? I'm getting a really hard shift followed by rattling usually when shifting from 1-2. I know the ones on the Legends go bad but wasn't sure if it carried over to the 1st gen RL (I have an 04)

 

I kinda have the same symptoms too and was thinking it was the tranny mount as well! From the service manual it looks like a lot of work! Would appreciate any tips as well!

 

Got a confirmation it is the front tranny mount. I've done them on the Legend and it could be a pain because the exhaust has to come down which is usually rusted pretty badly. I had to replace all the exhaust bolts and have the old ones cut with a torch. The part is $288

 

do you have a crap load of miles on that 04? did you buy her used?

 

Indeed, she has over 200k. I dropped in a new motor with 82k since the old one took a dump with a bhg
