tires 235/45/18?

tires 235/45/18?

I have aquired 4 18' wheels with tires. for my RL. The tire size is 225/40/18, I want to upgrade to 235/45/18 is anyone using this tire size? If so what tires are you running? Thanx in advance

probably gonna be a little hard finding any feedback for that specific tire since it is not the recomended size.

what are you trying to accomplish?

The tires I have on my vehicle now are 225/40/18. I have noticed the handling is much better but I would like a softer ride. I have noticed the size I have now is not recommended but they came with the wheels.

The roads are bad here in Ohio and that's part of the reason for thinking about that tire size.

I would think that a 225/45/18 should be okay.

I personally think a 235 looks too wide on the RL.
