My temperature gauge keeps going up and down half way up then all the way down to c

 

is that the only symptom what about the idle when cold , is there heat in the car, how long does it take to get heat, when the engine is cold and you start the car does the gage rise slowly-(problem) or does the gage suddenly rise to half( normal) what happens on the hiwy at speed does the gage slowly cool off

 

Check coolant level first

 

Check for frade wires at the temp switch! If good! Replace temp switch and thermostat!! And coolan!
