Suspension

Hey whats up fellas i just got a 02 rl im looking to spank it. Im having a hard time finding a set of true coilovers, i see that some people use tsx coilovers i was wondering how the ride is since the rl is like 500lbs heavier, i would rather use a set made for the rl so i have a nice ride. thanx

How much are you trying to lower?

H&R and a couple of diff companies make lowering springs but theyre all over in Europe and youd have to get em imported.

If you want to be a baller and have at least 2000 to spend you can get some jic etc coilovers specifically made for the KA9 shipped in from Japan through an importer.

If you arent trying to lower more than 1-1.25" inches you can use Konis for the 91-95 Legend with a little machining and misc Legend parts.

i dont believe they make coilovers for the rl. You can use coil overs from a legend if you use the fork or something. Do a google search and it will yield some results

just thought i'd add...

It will be around 3,000 for the JIC's, including shipping from Japan. Not sure how long you'd have to wait for the coils though.

You can use KSports or any other Legend coils as long as you purchase Legend forks.

If you want to use TSX suspension, make sure you get a higher spring rate as our cars are much heavier than the TSX's.

Hey, I was wondering the same question. How is ride quality if you put the springs from a tsx, and also would a 99-02 accord springs work?
