Hey all!
My steering wheel needs to be replaced and I was wondering two things. 1) Is it possible to get one with the wood trim from a later model perhaps, and 2) How difficult is it to replace>

I know some of you experts probably have already done this but wanted your advice!

I don't know about the wood trim, but a steering wheel can be pretty involved. Lots of electric connections (audio controls, cruise control) and the airbag. Depends on how handy you are.

You'll need a specialized tool - a steering wheel puller....

Go to pdftown.com and search on "Acura RL". Download the manual (46 MB) and check the instructions and diagrams...

how bad is it? i just got a leather wrap for mine (sewn of course) and looks pretty good. wish i went with a dark brown instead of beige, but its still nice
