Hi, I replaced the power steering fluid today, since I couldn't remember when was the last time it got replaced. The fluid was dark and smell really bad. There was some dripping on the rack and the boot was torn also. I think this is a good time to replace the steering rack and pinion. Has anyone got their rack replaced yet, I just wondering how much you paid for it and how long doesit take. Thx.

 

Hey, I just started the car and it was not leaking no more, weird? I guess yesterday, it had a lots of air in the system that caused the leak. It is still have a few drip after the engine turns off, but isnt that bad. I will replace both the boots and we'll see from there.
