Standard Or Viper
I've posted twice so far this will be my third post.
Like I've said before I have an 2001 RL. Comes standard with its own alarm system & keyless remote. However I've been thinking about getting a VIPER 5701 Remote Starter & Alarm System to have installed.
Do you think this would be a good idea or should I stick with the manufactures system? I find that the range on the remote is very short. Could this be because of a low battery?

The range could be because of a low battery, of course though you have to put a new one in to find out. I think our standard alarm system is very good, although I don't know anything about Viper.
My opinion is to not underestimate the alarm on our car, after all they are like $55,000 vehicles.
